Sojourner Farm exists first and foremost to provide wholesome food for our own family and for our children to have the opportunity to grow up around a wide variety of other growing things. But we have always wanted to share our homesteading life with others as well. We have cows, pigs, and sheep as well as chickens, ducks, and quail, all guarded by three dogs and a barn cat (well, he’s recently established himself as a house cat, but he still frequents the barn). Starting in the spring of 2026, we are offering to our neighbors in Lower Paxton Township and the greater Harrisburg area the opportunity to partner with us by purchasing chicken (available roughly every 10 weeks beginning mid-April of 2026) and pork (available in the fall of 2026) and produce (available in the summer of 2026). We also expect to have honey available in the fall of 2026, and eventually we might be able to make enough maple syrup here to have some to sell as well. We’re also open to exploring options for providing raw milk shares, and we’d ultimately like to have an inspected kitchen so we can sell baked goods. We also plan to host a few small, on-farm events for selected groups. Contact us to reserve meat (chicken or pork) or to ask us about other products and services and farm visits.
